While
working as a croupier in casinos across Belgium and
Holland for several years, Jan Hansen – proprietor
of Hansen's Chocolate House – developed his
connoisseur taste for chocolate. Having refined his
palette with many luxury chocolates, Jan realised
the potential to market his now renowned products.
Having developed his knowledge and skills
by collecting books and attending trade shows abroad,
the keen innovator, whose proudest moment is his 'Rolls
Royce' Cherry Liqueur, says his greatest challenge
is finding new ways to present his much-loved confectionary.
